When it comes to coffee there are several very important factors that need to be in place in order to deliver the best cup. For example, consider the various methods to make coffee. From automatic drip machines to steam brewers there is a tremendous variety that delivers different results. Roasting coffee is not just a skill but a true art form. Each roaster has details they will share publicly and they will also refer to secrets that they will not share. Some of the top coffee roasters are small companies that can only produce a little amount of coffee per year, and then there are others that are a part of huge coffee empires, and yet they still manage to roast coffee to perfection;

This company was started by George Howell, very famous amongst the coffee elite, with the target of identifying the super high quality growers worldwide that were too small to ever be noticed without his help. One of the largest of the top coffee roasters is Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. This is the same company that owns the Keurig Coffee Maker manufacturing company. Somehow Green Mountain has figured a way to balance being a large conglomerate and still deliver some of the best roasted coffee available worldwide. This is something that others could never accomplish. Green Mountain has succeeded delivering world class coffee to the masses
These two roasters represent the two extremes between companies and approaches to coffee yet they are both regarded as among the top coffee roasters of the world. This is really to the credit of Green Mountain. The fact that they have been able to source the highest quality beans and resist the profit temptation of blending them with lower quality stock is a testament to their commitment to quality and to their customers. This type of integrity and commitment to product is rare in a company as large as Green Mountain.
