Coffee Favors
With the increasing popularity of coffee there has come an unexpected development of a market that normally would not be associated with coffee. This is the market for wedding favors. It seems that wedding planners are tired of almonds, picture frames, and other wedding favors and have instead turned to Coffee Favors. As much as I would like to say I am shocked, I am actually relieved. Now when I go to a wedding, I can expect to see something that is exciting for me to take home, a coffee favor. Of course I go to the wedding to see the shared commitment between the bride and groom, but the coffee favor is an added treat that I love.
There are many types of coffee favors. They range from coffee accessories to foods that are traditionally associated with coffee. These are all unique to receive at a wedding and are a lot more fun than getting yet another picture frame. In anticipation of having to plan a wedding for a friend I started looking into the various coffee favors available and was impressed with the variety.
The plainest favor I saw was a chrome coffee scooper. It did not have any real detail or design, just a round scooper. It was packaged in a cute little box with a ribbon. I then moved on to some nice little heart measuring spoons. These were cute and would be worth keeping in a kitchen. Some of the favors were a little big for my taste, for example, there was one company offering custom coffee favor coffee mugs. I thought those were a little too large for what I had in mind.
The edible favors were particularly enticing to me, especially because I was allowed to test each one. The tea rose candy bags, those were very cute and the bags held tiny coffee bean candies. I particularly liked the bon bon's in little trays. In the end I choose the little heart shaped measuring spoons. I know they are not particularly memorable or romantic. But they are very cute and they do serve a purpose, long after the actual wedding. What better coffee favor to give than one that is useful and cute at the same time?
