Coffee Creamer Flavors

Coffee creamer is a powder or liquid substance that is used as a substitute in lieu of adding cream or milk to coffee. There are Coffee Creamer Flavors that are dairy and non-dairy. The non-dairy creamers are for those avoiding dairy products, they are usually classified as non-dairy because they do not contain lactose. The fact is, that for purists non-dairy creamer is still dairy because is contains milk proteins. Non dairy creamer is also known as non dairy whitener because there are some that do not want to use the word cream, when in fact, it does not contain any real cream. There are several manufacturers of non dairy creamer. The first was Nestle in 1961 and the second was Borden's non-dairy creamer called Cremora. While the most popular non dairy creamer today is Coffee-Mate the newer brand made by International Delight is increasing in market share each year. In recent years there has been an increasing popularity for the coffee creamer flavors. There are two main manufacturers of coffee creamer flavors, International Delight, and Coffee-Mate.

International Delight breaks down their coffee creamer flavors into several groups. The first is their core flavors. In this group you will find the traditionally popular flavors of hazelnut, Irish Creme, Amaretto, and other basic flavors. The next grouping for International Delight is their Coffee House Inspirations Flavors. These include chai latte, breve creme, caramel macchiato, and vanilla caramel creme. The most exciting flavors from International Delight coffee include popular well known brands like Almond Joy and Cinnabon as well as seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Pie Spice, Vanilla Spiced Rum, and White Chocolate Raspberry.

Coffee-Mate has a different breakdown for their coffee creamer flavors. They have some great flavors as well as some other larger categories. Coffee-Mate has an interesting line up that not only includes flavors but also fat-free, sugar-free, liquids, and powders. Within these categories they have a lot of exciting flavors. My favorites are reduced fat amaretto and low sugar hazelnut. One of the more popular original flavors are Hershey's chocolate caramel and cinnamon hazelnut.

Both Coffee-Mate and International Delight come in a variety of sizes. They also have almost all of their coffee creamer flavors in both a powdered as well as a liquid form. My favorite is the single serving sizes that allow you to flavor a single cup with delicious flavor. These also keep without refrigeration which is nice when you want to have a few tucked away in a desk drawer at work.

As coffee increases in popularity, so does the specific taste demands of the consumer. Unfortunately, you cannot always find a specific blend or mix that matches your taste. These coffee creamer flavors allow you to spice up even the cheapest and most bland office coffee and make it a true delight to drink.
